I have now taken two trips to Argentina. In 2007, I spent two weeks in Bariloche taking a Spanish class with Veronica at Spanish in Bariloche. It is a very good school, by the way, in spite of my poor progress in learning Spanish. While there, I stayed with Antonio and Nora, Ceci’s parents.

We attended the wedding celebration of Quique (Banio) and Ceci. We spent two weeks in Bariloche then headed south by bus along Ruta 40 to El Chalten, El Califate then on into Chile and Punta Arenas where we boarded a cruise ship for a 4 night cruise to Ushuaia. During the cruise, we were able to go ashore on Cape Horn. The trip home from Ushuaia took 4 days, flying to BsAs one day, BsAs through Santiago, Chile, and NY to Chicago the next two days, then by bus to Minneapolis. It was a wonderful trip. I hope you enjoy reading about some of the highlights in this blog.
